Charlotte Prohaska
VP, Transplant

Charlotte is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience. Inspired by helping her husband overcome health issues, Charlotte decided to pursue a career in Transplant medicine. She received her Nursing degree from Indiana University, Indiana and began her career in the Orthopedics and Neurology department at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, IN. Following her tenure at Columbus Regional Hospital, Charlotte transitioned to the PACU at Community South Surgery in Greenwood, IN. In 2009, she began working at IU Health Kidney and Pancreas Transplant in Indianapolis, IN where she met and collaborated with Transplant Medical Director, Dr. Tim Taber on the desensitization program.

Her interest in Transplant led her to BioMatrix in 2012 where she was tasked with creating and cultivating a best in class Transplant program meeting the unmet needs in specialty infusion pharmacy desensitization and clinical consultation.

Since joining BioMatrix in 2012, Charlotte has specialized in consulting with leading transplant centers across the US and has assisted in the organization of desensitization programs in many of these centers. Currently working with over 178 centers, she assists in the management, care, and education for multi-organ transplant patients as well as management of our highly skilled Transplant Account Management team. Charlotte has led the Transplant team to National recognition with publications including white papers and clinical trials to improve Transplant patient lives.

Charlotte lives in Columbus, Indiana with her Husband John.
